Our trip to Uzbekistan is fast approaching. I am in regular contact with our agents in Tashkent, and with the Jewish communities in Bukhara and Samarkand to prepare for our visit.
At this point, I need to double check the information I have about your travel plans in order to make sure that everyone is collected and delivered to the airport at the right time.
Those on the extension to Khiva should be aware that the return flight from Khiva arrives back in Tashkent at around midnight. We will go from the airport to Ramada hotel which is near the airport. Many people will have only a short night in the hotel and will need to return to the airport a few hours later for their early morning flights.
There are some people who are flying out with Turkish Airlines at 3:00 am on Thursday morning. If you are on this flight, it will not make sense for you to go to the hotel at all, and you should transfer to the international terminal to check in for your return flight. If you are on this flight and let me know that you will not require the hotel room, I will cancel your hotel booking for the last night. In this case you will receive a refund of the cost of the hotel room.
To make this as simple as possible, I have prepared a short online form to collect your travel information. At the same time, I am also recording all participants flight details, to know when to expect your arrival.
