A quick update with some extra details and reminders for our forthcoming trip to Uzbekistan.
Extra nights in Hotels
A number of people have been in touch with me to request extra nights at hotels in Uzbekistan either before or after the trip. It has taken me some time to confirm the prices for extra nights at the hotels – but these have now been confirmed.
The first hotel we are staying at is the Lotte City Tashkent Palace Hotel in Tashkent. The cost of an extra night at this hotel is £110 for a double/twin room and £95 for a single room.
The last hotel we will be staying at the end of the trip is the Ramada, which is nearer the airport. The cost of an extra night at this hotel is £85 for a double/twin room and £75 for a single room.
If you asked me to book extra nights, these will be added to your invoice. If require extra nights but have not informed me yet, then please let me know as soon as possible so I can make the necessary arrangements. We are travelling in the high tourist season in Uzbekistan, and it is important that bookings are made as early as possible.
Elections
On a completely different subject – please note that our trips to Uzbekistan in April (depending on your flight itinerary) and May (everyone) coincide with the forthcoming UK general election. You might want to register for a postal vote with your local council if you do not want to miss your vote.
