Pitigliano - Night View
Overview:
I am pleased to be able to offer a trip to one of the most beautiful destinations in my portfolio. Tucked in the step hills of southern Tuscany, this small village was one of the few places in Europe that allowed Jews to live unhindered and it attracted Jews from all around. But many surprises lie hidden beneath the surface of this small village.
This trip will take us to Tuscany - one of the most beautiful parts of Italy. Jews have lived here from the time that Judea became part of the Roman empire up to the present day - and echoes of this history can be found in the mountains and alleyways of towns and villages throughout Tuscany. We will visit a beautiful renaissance synagogues underground caves dug by Jewish exiles from Spain, the town that gave birth to to Ashkenazi Jewry and much more.
Partake in all of this surrounded by the wonderful colours, scents and tastes of the Italian spring.
